"I'm not going to waste any time with this. You're admitted," he said, referring to the shoot-for-the-stars-8%-acceptance-rate grad school to which I applied. Who said this you ask? Simon Cowell. I rejoiced, then I woke up.
As I'm still waiting to hear if I will even get an interview with this school, maybe this is my subconscious's way of hinting that attending this school really is just "in my dreams."
Although sometimes I catch myself hoping I don't get in. I know I'll be happy at the school here, and well, it's safe. I've made some amazing friends here and my parents are here. I just moved into a new apartment (near a Metro stop!!) with my best friend. The curriculum at the local school is getting a face lift this year, and the goal is to get the school bumped up in the rankings starting with (potentially) my class.
Oy...I guess I'll just keep waiting and see what happens.

You know, safety is great...but change can be too. I think this is one of those times in life where whatever you are supposed to do will be presented to you in some way. I've had that happen before. It's a "gut" thing. I hope you get what you want though! Congratulations on being accepted into the one school though!
